BREAKING: Winston-Salem police are investigating a reported armed robbery at a beauty supply store near New Walkertown Road Tuesday afternoon.
The robbery was reported around 2:05 p.m. at K Beauty Supply in the Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and New Walkertown Road area.
Initial information indicates one suspect, described as wearing dark clothing, reportedly displayed a firearm and stole merchandise. A second suspect, described as younger and wearing a white face covering and white hat, was also believed to be involved.
The suspects reportedly fled on foot toward the Food Lion and nearby park. Officers established a perimeter and reviewed surveillance video as part of the investigation.
No injuries were reported.
