NORTH CAROLINA – The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is asking residents to help move the agency higher in the annual American Association of State Troopers Best Looking Cruiser contest.

According to the Highway Patrol, North Carolina is currently ranked eighth in the nationwide competition, which features patrol vehicles from law enforcement agencies across the United States. Officials are encouraging the public to cast a vote in hopes of climbing the rankings.

The annual contest, organized by the American Association of State Troopers, allows the public to vote for their favorite state patrol cruiser. The winning agency’s cruiser is typically featured on the association’s annual calendar.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said every vote counts as the agency works to improve its standing in the competition.

Voting is open online, and residents are encouraged to support North Carolina by casting their vote before the contest deadline.
