WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Emergency crews responded Saturday morning to a reported assault in the area of North Patterson Avenue after a woman was reportedly stabbed in the forearm with a screwdriver.
According to emergency dispatch traffic, the victim is a 26-year-old woman. Responding units were advised the suspect’s location was unknown, prompting EMS crews to stage away from the immediate area until law enforcement secured the scene.
The victim’s condition has not been released, and no information about a suspect has been made public.
