DAVIE COUNTY, N.C. , The Davie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double shooting that occurred Monday in the area of Jack Booe Road and Liberty Church Road.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to the scene after reports of a shooting involving two victims. Multiple emergency crews, including EMS, fire personnel, and law enforcement officers, responded to provide medical assistance and secure the area.
Investigators also established a second crime scene in the area of U.S. Highway 64 and Interstate 40 as part of the ongoing investigation.
Authorities said the suspect has been detained and there is no danger to the public.
Officials have not released the conditions of the two victims or identified those involved. The circumstances leading up to the shooting also remain under investigation.
The Davie County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is active, and additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
