WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. , The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 21-year-old man injured Thursday morning.
Officers responded at approximately 11:37 a.m. on July 30 to a reported shooting at 2821 Bleeker Square. When they arrived, they found Shemone Devon Cody suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Cody was taken to a local hospital with injuries that police said were not life-threatening.
Investigators have not released information about a suspect or what led to the shooting.
