Rowan County Sheriff’s Office

Arrests

• Jefte Gomez-Herrera, 33, was arrested on a charge of Failure to Appear/Comply (Misdemeanor) at the 100 block of Katie Drive/Beaver Loop in China Grove at 11:46 p.m.

• Eric Dale Stone, 50, was arrested on a charge of Probation Violation (Misdemeanor) in the 300 block of Rainey Road in Salisbury at 8:36 p.m.

• Daniel Wayne Owens, 42, was arrested on a charge of Failure to Appear/Comply (Misdemeanor) in the 100 block of West Liberty Street in Salisbury at 1:45 p.m.

• Emily Kirk Myers, 42, was arrested on a charge of First-Degree Burglary (Felony) in the 4300 block of U.S. Highway 601 in Salisbury at 6:04 a.m.

Incidents

• Larceny, Shoplifting
Officers responded to the 300 block of South Arlington Street in Salisbury after a reported shoplifting between 5:34 p.m. and 5:43 p.m.

• Drug Law Violation, Possession of Other Dangerous Drug
Deputies investigated a report in the 8800 block of Castor Road near Wagon Lane in Salisbury between 4:50 p.m. and 4:53 p.m.

• Simple Assault
Deputies responded to the 300 block of Hidden Valley Road in Salisbury for a reported assault between 4:30 p.m. and 4:31 p.m.

• Drug Violation
Deputies investigated a drug-related incident near West N.C. 152 and Castor Road in Rockwell between 3:20 p.m. and 3:21 p.m.

• Fraud
A fraud investigation was reported in the 6800 block of Old Mocksville Road in Salisbury. The incident occurred on July 29 between 5:36 p.m. and 5:37 p.m. and was reported on Aug. 1.

• Drug Law Violation, Possession of Other Dangerous Drug
Deputies investigated a reported drug possession incident in the 8700 block of U.S. Highway 52 in Rockwell between 10:38 a.m. and 10:39 a.m.

• Burglary, Unlawful Entry
Deputies responded to the 4300 block of U.S. Highway 601 in Salisbury for a reported burglary between 5:45 a.m. and 5:46 a.m.

Salisbury Police Department

Arrests

• Hunter Michael Erwin Post, 29, was arrested at 223 E. Fisher St. at noon on multiple charges including:
• Resist, Delay or Obstruct a Public Officer (Misdemeanor)
• Injury to Personal Property (Misdemeanor)
• Warrant Service and Arrest Class B (Felony), two counts
• Warrant Service and Arrest Class B (Misdemeanor)

Incidents

• Larceny, Shoplifting
Officers responded to the 100 block of Mahaley Avenue at 2:35 p.m.

• Larceny
A larceny was reported in the 1000 block of South Church Street between 11 p.m. on July 30 and 1 a.m. on July 31.

• Larceny from Motor Vehicle
Officers investigated a theft from a vehicle in the 300 block of South Church Street between 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m.

• Larceny from Motor Vehicle
A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 1100 block of Kenly Street at 12:31 p.m.

• Larceny
Officers investigated a reported larceny in the 1100 block of Grady Street between 7 p.m. on July 30 and 4:11 a.m. on Aug. 1.

• Larceny, Automobile Accessories
A theft of automobile accessories was reported in the 1300 block of Lincolnton Road between 4 p.m. on July 31 and 6:45 a.m.

• Larceny from Motor Vehicle
Officers responded to a theft from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Tabernacle Street between 3:30 a.m. and 3:37 a.m.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Information is based on initial reports released by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and Salisbury Police Department. Investigations remain ongoing unless otherwise stated.
