
Detention Officer Poirier, Deputy Johnson, Deputy Honeycutt, and Deputy Hamrick
ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office welcomed four new members during a swearing-in ceremony held Monday, adding experienced law enforcement professionals and a new detention officer to the agency.
The agency announced the addition of Detention Officer Poirier, Deputy Johnson, Deputy Honeycutt and Deputy Hamrick.
According to the sheriff’s office, the group brings a broad range of experience. Deputy Honeycutt joined the agency with more than 30 years of law enforcement experience, while Deputy Johnson brought 10 years of experience. Deputy Hamrick returned to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office after previously serving with the agency and continuing a career in law enforcement.
Sheriff’s office officials said they look forward to the new members serving the residents of Rowan County and welcomed them as part of the agency’s team.
The ceremony marked the official beginning of their service with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
