CONCORD, N.C. — A 21-year-old Cabarrus County man is facing multiple felony charges after investigators accused him of producing sexually explicit material involving an 18-month-old child, according to arrest warrants.
Jerell K’Sean Reddick, of Kannapolis, was arrested June 26 and charged with two counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of statutory sex offense with a child by an adult.
According to the warrants, the alleged offenses occurred on Aug. 6, 2024, in Cabarrus County. Court records allege Reddick engaged in sexual acts involving an 18-month-old child and that the acts were performed for a live performance, leading to the exploitation charges. The warrants also allege Reddick, who was 21 at the time, engaged in sexual acts with a child under the age of 13.
Reddick was served with the warrants on June 26. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance in Cabarrus County District Court on June 29.
The investigation was conducted by the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office.
