KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — A 68-year-old Kernersville man died Monday morning after a collision involving a three-wheeled motorcycle and a passenger vehicle at a Kernersville intersection, police said.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:19 a.m. at the intersection of Union Cross Road and Solomon Drive, according to the Kernersville Police Department.
Investigators said Douglas Webb Cooper was operating a 2012 Can-Am Spyder northbound on Union Cross Road when a 2024 Honda Accord entered his lane of travel. The Honda then struck Cooper, ejecting him from the motorcycle.
Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene by Forsyth County EMS.
Police have not released additional information about the driver of the Honda Accord or indicated whether any charges are pending.

According to police, the crash marks the first traffic-related fatality in the Town of Kernersville in 2026.
