FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — A man died after a house fire in Forsyth County on June 28, according to the Forsyth County Fire Marshal’s Office.
The Forsyth County Emergency 911 Center received a report of a fire at approximately 2 p.m. at 3160 Dunn Drive, Lot 9.
Firefighters from the Clemmons, Lewisville, Arcadia and Forsyth County fire departments, along with Forsyth County EMS, responded to the scene.
When crews arrived, they found a structure fire and one adult male victim. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials said the cause of death remains under investigation and is pending an autopsy.
The Forsyth County Fire Marshal’s Office, with assistance from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, investigated the fire and determined it was accidental.
The identity of the victim has not been released. No additional information was immediately available.
