TRINITY, N.C. — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old who was last seen Thursday in Trinity.
Authorities said Mylah Arie Lankford was reported missing on July 2. She is described as a Black female with black hair worn in a ponytail, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall.
Lankford was last seen on July 2 in the area of Colorado Boulevard in Trinity. She was wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, blue jean shorts and carrying a brown backpack. Investigators believe she is traveling on foot.
Anyone with information about Lankford’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office at 336-318-6699. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Randolph County Crime Stoppers at 336-672-7463 or through the Randolph Sheriff NC and P3Tips mobile apps.
