MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Authorities have released new information in the shooting that occurred on Interstate 77 in Mooresville, saying the incident was not a road rage shooting as initially suspected. According to the Mooresville Police Department, investigators determined the gunfire originated from inside the victims’ vehicle, not from another vehicle traveling on the interstate. Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old J’Kobe Tre’shon Ramseur of Hickory, who was a passenger in the black Kia.
