LANDIS, N.C. — The Town of Landis has appointed Detective Sgt. Shawn Hill as interim police chief while officials begin the search for a permanent leader of the Landis Police Department. Town Manager Michael D. Ambrose announced Monday that Hill has formally accepted the interim position.
