SALISBURY, N.C. — A Salisbury man was killed Sunday afternoon in a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on Statesville Boulevard, according to emergency dispatch traffic and reports from the scene. Dwayne Muhamed Mutevelic, 35, died as a result of the crash. First responders were dispatched around 5 p.m. Sunday to the 2100 block of Statesville Boulevard for a reported collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. Initial emergency radio traffic indicated the motorcycle rider was unresponsive. According to investigators, the case began on Feb. 27, 2026, after deputies received a report of suspicious activity on an elderly woman’s bank account. A suspect has been arrested in connection with the homicide of 16-year-old Jayden Livingston, whose death earlier this month shocked the Walkertown community and prompted an extensive investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
